Here Are 10 K-Pop Male Idols Who Are Considered Complete All-Rounders
In K-Pop, it is common for groups to have roles assigned to them, whether it is the main vocalist, main rapper, or main dancer. Sometimes, these roles overlap, and many will find themselves taking on several different parts in a song, requiring various skills.
Yet, some idols don’t seem to fit into any of these categories, despite the labels. Here is a look at 10 K-Pop male idols who are literally the full package and can do everything.
1. Leedo (ONEUS)
On most profile pages, ONEUS’s Leedo will be called the “main rapper.” Yet, ToMoons know that it is way too specific for someone as talented as Leedo. Before joining RBW, Leedo actually trained as a dancer, which is why he is so effortless during performances.
He can also be one of the main vocalists along with Seoho and Keonhee. In particular, during their latest “Black Mirror” promotion, Leedo even got confused about his role in the group because he had more singing than rapping parts in the track.
2. Seonghwa (ATEEZ)
When it comes to ATEEZ’s oldest member Seonghwa, it seems as if there is nothing he can’t do. Known for his sharp visuals, many seem to underestimate the talent he has. In songs like “Inception,” his vocals and choreography skills are on show.
Yet, he is also an extremely proficient rapper and even auditioned for this role. More recently, when member Mingi was on hiatus, Seonghwa took on many of the rap parts in performances, particularly their latest Japanese comeback with the track “Dreamer,” and performances of “THANXX.”
3. Han (Stray Kids)
When it comes to fourth-generation idol groups taking the world by storm, Stray Kids cannot be discounted. With so many talented members, they are all extremely diverse.
Member Han has recently gained attention after their appearance on Mnet’s Kingdom. As part of 3racha, Han is known for his producing skills and is one of the fastest rappers in K-Pop. Yet, he has shown that his vocals are also sublime and flawless dancing.
4. J-Hope (BTS)
Although J-Hope is known as one of BTS’s main rappers, it isn’t surprising that he actually auditioned as a vocalist and is seen as one of the best dancers in K-Pop.
Although he isn’t the main vocalist, his vocals are still undeniable and have a unique tone to them, especially when combined with his rapping. For many, J-Hope’s stage presence and dancing are second to none, radiating energy and passion from the second he starts to perform.
5. Eunhyuk (Super Junior)
For many fans, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk is one of the OG all-rounders in K-Pop. Debuting back in 2005, he has done it all and, in the group, seems to be able to do it all.
Known for his sublime dancing skills, Eunhyuk is also one of the group’s main rappers but has also been known to have a pure voice when singing. Out of all of the members, he is in the most subunits, showcasing his immense diversity and cementing his legendary status.
6. DK (iKON)
In iKON, DK is definitely seen as the main dancer and has wowed fans with his flawless and expressive interpretation of songs. Yet, like all the names on this list, it is too constrictive for DK.
He has now taken more of a front role in rapping in the group’s tracks and has unique vocals. In particular, this was shown during Kingdom when he took part in the dance unit and joined the groups’ main vocalists during the final.
7. Yeonjun (TXT)
TXT is one of the few groups with no roles or positions in the group aside from the leader. Because of this, all of the members could have been put on this list. Yet, it is impossible not to single out member Yeonjun who earned the “4th generation it boy” title and “Big Hit’s most legendary trainee.”
There is no denying that his dancing skills are undeniable, after being named one of Studio Choom‘s Artist of the Month, but he also has solid vocals and raw rapping skills.
8. Byeongkwan (A.C.E)
For many fans, A.C.E is a group of all-rounders and, despite their designated roles, all of the members can do it all. In particular, Byeongkwan has gained attention for being one of the best all-rounders, yet most underrated, idols in the industry.
Known for his amazing dancing talents, Byeongkwan also has a voice of gold but joins fellow member WOW in the rap parts. With his style, charisma, and charm, no labels can hold him down.
9. Hoshi (SEVENTEEN)
SEVENTEEN is another group where all members are considered true all-rounders with their idol skills. Despite distinct units, each shines in every way, and Hoshi has particularly caught the attention of fans for his diversity.
As part of the performance unit, it is no surprise that Hoshi can do it all, and many have praised his stage presence for being second to none. Whether as a group or with his solo releases, Hoshi shines as a true all-rounder.
10. Minhyuk (BTOB)
Since debuting in BTOB in 2012, Minhyuk has proven time and time again that he really is the complete idol package. He is known as the group’s main rapper, with a tone combining passion and raspiness.
Yet, his vocals have also been praised recently through appearances on Masked Singer and Kingdom. It is a complete contrast to his rapping but holds the same amount of emotion. Also, despite BTOB not being as known for their dancing, he has consistently shown a natural talent for moving on stage with the other members.
