The Results Are In: Reddit’s Top 10 Choices For Best K-Pop Albums And Album Cover Art In 2020

Last month, Reddit posted a series of polls for K-Pop fans to vote on various categories, such as albums, music videos, and artists, to see what people thought were the best of such subjects in 2020. After a period of time has passed for voting, the results have been posted, and these are just a couple of the categories!

Based on the total tally of votes, the following albums were voted as the 10 best of the year and the 10 with the best cover art in 2020 respectively. While the lists are overall very different, there is one similarity that you might be intrigued by!

Album of the Year 2020

10. 回: Walpurgis Night by GFRIEND

回: Walpurgis Night came out on November 9 of last year, and is GFRIEND’s fourth full-length studio album with the title song “Mago”. With 107 votes, it received 4.9% of the votes in Reddit’s Album of the Year 2020 poll!

9. Monster by Red Velvet’s Irene & Seulgi

Monster came out on July 6 of last year, and is Irene & Seulgi’s debut mini-album with the title song “Monster”. With 110 votes, it received 5.1% of the votes in Reddit’s Album of the Year 2020 poll!

[12:00] came out on October 19 of last year, and is LOONA’s third mini-album with the title song “Why Not?”. With 121 votes, it received 5.6% of the votes in Reddit’s Album of the Year 2020 poll!

BLOOM*IZ came out on February 17 of last year, and is IZ*ONE’s first full-length studio album with the title song “Fiesta”. With 143 votes, it received 6.6% of the votes in Reddit’s Album of the Year 2020 poll!
