A user, centreoftheselights, on the popular fanworks site AO3 (Archive Of Our Own) compiled a list of the most written ships, or pairings, in 2024.
Here are the K-Pop ships that made the top 100 on the list.
8. BTS’s Jungkook and Jimin
BTS‘s Jungkook and Jimin (KookMin) ranked eighth in K-Pop ships and 100th overall, with 1,492 new works written featuring them. The ship was previously ranked 94th last year and it has 29,044 works overall.
7. Stray Kids’ Hyunjin and Felix
Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin and Felix (HyunLix) ranked seventh in K-Pop ship and 98th overall with 1,524 new works written featuring them. The ship re-entered the top 100 in 2024, with 6140 works overall.
6. ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin And Zhang Hao
ZEROBASEONE‘s Sung Hanbin and Zhang Hao (HaoBin) ranked sixth in K-Pop ships and 94th overall, with 1,577 new works written featuring them. The ship was previously ranked 72nd, and it has 3,320 works overall.
5. ATEEZ’s San And Wooyoung
ATEEZ‘s San and Wooyoung (WooSan) ranked fifth in K-Pop ship and 88th overall, with 1,650 new works. This is the ship’s first year in the top 100 and has 6660 works in total.
4. SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo and Mingyu
SEVENTEEN‘s Wonwoo and Mingyu (Meanie or MinWon)ranked in fourth K-Pop ships and 87th overall, with 1,651 new works. This is the ship’s first entry in the top 100 and it has 6964 works in total.
3. BTS’s Jungkook and V
BTS‘s Jungkook and V (TaeKook) ranked third in K-Pop ships and 60th overall, with 2,056 new works written featuring them. The ship was previously ranked 45th last year, and it has 38,087 works overall.
2. ATEEZ’s Hongjoong and Seonghwa
ATEEZ‘s Hongjoong and Seonghwa (SeongJoong or Matz) ranked in second K-Pop ships and 47th overall with 2,318 new works written featuring them. This is the ship’s first year in the top 100 and has 8,183 works overall.
1. Stray Kids’ Han and Lee Know
Stray Kids‘ Han and Lee Know (MinSung) ranked first in K-Pop ships and 19th overall, with 4,713 new works written featuring them. They were previously ranked 13th last year and have 18,457 works overall.
