All K-Pop Winners At The 2022 VMAs
K-Pop took center stage at this year’s VMAs (also known as MTV‘s 2022 Video Music Awards).
So, here are all the K-Pop acts that won at the 2022 VMAs…
1. BLACKPINK X PUBG MOBILE 2022 IN-GAME CONCERT: [THE VIRTUAL]
BLACKPINK made history by winning “Best Metaverse Performance.” The group won for BLACKPINK The Virtual PUBG. They were nominated along with BTS | Minecraft – BIGHIT Music / Geffen Records, Charli XCX | Roblox –Atlantic Records, Justin Bieber – An Interactive Virtual Experience | Wave – Def Jam, Rift Tour ft. Ariana Grande | Fortnite – Republic Records, and Twenty One Pilots Concert Experience | Roblox – Fueled By Ramen / Elektra Music Group.

This is the first year that this category has been used.
2. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN won “Push Performance of the Year” for the December 2021 release “Rock with you.” It was nominated along with Griff‘s “One Night,” Remi Wolf‘s “Sexy Villain,” Nessa Barrett‘s “i hope ur miserable until ur dead,” Mae Muller‘s “Better Days,” GAYLE‘s “abcdefu,” Sheneesa‘s “R U That,” Omar Apollo‘s “Tamagotchi,” Wet Leg‘s “Chaise Longue,” Muni Long‘s “Baby Boo,” and Doechii‘s “Persuasive.”
In 2021, MTV returned the category to its original name (Best New Artist), thus separating it from the MTV Push initiative, which again received its own category (Push Performance of the Year).

They are the first K-Pop act to win in this category.
3. BLACKPINK’s Lisa
Lisa took home the award for “Best K-Pop” with her solo “LALISA,” which was nominated alongside SEVENTEEN‘s “HOT,” BTS‘s “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” ITZY‘s “LOCO,” Stray Kids‘ “MANIAC,” and TWICE‘s “The Feels.”

4. BTS
BTS broke the record for most consecutive wins of “Group of the Year” as this is their fourth year winning. They were nominated alongside BLACKPINK, City Girls, Imagine Dragons, Silk Sonic, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Måneskin.
