Here’s 5+ Times “Loki” Actor Tom Hiddleston Proved He Was A K-Pop Fan
These days, TXT‘s “Anti-Romantic” is taking over Loki TikTok, and you are likely familiar with the “god of mischief” himself, British actor Tom Hiddleston. He is well-known for playing the mischievous yet charming Marvel character Loki. What you might not know is that he is actually low-key (pun intended) a K-Pop stan as well.
Here are 5+ times Tom Hiddleston proved himself to be a K-Pop fan…
1. When he hung out with Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany
While he was in Korea to promote Thor: The Dark World, Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany Young served as a host, interviewing him and even giving him a tour around Namsangol Hanok Village and Namsan Tower. It truly seemed like a moment straight out of a K-Drama!
We got lots of wholesome interactions between the two from this interview, and it was clear that he had become a fan (who wouldn’t?).
He also posted this cute tweet after meeting her!
SMTOWN shared the love with a couple of tweets of their own to mark the occasion!

This might be why…
2. He follows SMTOWN on social media
Many fans were shocked to realize that Tom Hiddleston follows SMTOWN, the musical collective for the recording artists under SM Entertainment, but some suspect that it is due to his interview with Tiffany.
3. Like the rest of us, he loves dancing, especially to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”
Die-hard fans of Tom Hiddleston know he loves to dance. MTV put him to the test to really prove his dance skills by asking him to dance popular dances on the spot (with no music), one of those being “Gangnam Style.”
Tom credits Tilda Swinton as the person who introduced him to K-Pop.
She’s so fun, just a hoot. I’d be in the make-up chair every morning while she showed me stupid YouTube videos. She introduced me to “Gangnam Style”. Seriously, she was into K-pop long before anyone else. She threw a party for me. Tilda Swinton on the dance floor is a force of nature. She knows how to get down.

4. When he guested on SNL Korea
Not only did he dance to Crayon Pop‘s “Bar Bar Bar,” but he also acted in a scene with Jay Park.
5. When he hung out with Eric Nam
While promoting Kong: Skull Island, Tom met up with entrepreneur, interviewer, and soloist Eric Nam!
6. When he practically auditioned to be an idol
We all know he is a phenomenal actor, but some might not know that he is quite the triple threat. In 2013, when Tom was promoting Thor: The Dark World in South Korea, he not only showed off some dance moves…
He also sang Michael Jackson’s “Man In The Mirror.”
We definitely think Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Tom Holland would make up the perfect group.
Honorable mention: he’s part of BM’s Big Tiddie Committee
While it’s not official official, we definitely know that Tom Hiddleston would fit right in with “The Big Tiddie Committee,” made famous by KARD‘s BM.
