Olympic Medalists are freaking out over CL and EXO at the Closing Ceremony
CL and EXO have some famous fans!
Koreaboo readers are not the only fans of CL and EXO – some of the medalists from the recently ended 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics are too!
So when CL and EXO performed at the Closing Ceremony this weekend, some of these athletes posted about the experience online.
1. Ice dancer, Maia Shibutani

American Ice Dancer Maia Shibutani won two bronze medals this year, and is a big CL fan!

3. Ice dancer, Alexander Gamelin
Alexander became a naturalized South Korean citizen in July and represented his new country in ice dancing this year. He got to meet EXO backstage!
4. Ice dancer, Yura Min
California-born Yura is Alexander’s ice dancing partner, representing South Korea. Though she experienced an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction in the team skate event, meeting EXO backstage might have made up for it!

Laura won bronze in the skeleton for Great Britain, and also got to hang out with EXO backstage.

Finally, Evgenia’s PyeongChang experience was memorable not just because she won silver medal as an Olympic Athlete from Russia, but also because this EXO superfan fulfilled her dream of meeting one of her favorite groups!
