The Only 2nd Generation K-Pop Girl Groups That Still Have All Their Original Members
The K-Pop industry regularly sees groups debuting, making comebacks, and achieving new record heights. And despite the difficulties of the K-Pop industry, ten second-generation girl groups are still active.
But, unfortunately, no matter how successful a group is, members might leave their groups for various reasons, be it controversies, a new career path, or even the desire to live a more normal life. Sometimes even a group’s entire line-up can change multiple times.
Here are the five active second-generation girl groups that, despite all odds, still have all their original members.
1. BGH4
BGH4 made their debut in 2006 with four members: Heesun, Misty, Euiju, and Bora.
Although BGH4 disbanded in 2008, with all four members going their separate ways, in 2022, the group reunited with the same original members to release a new single.
2. Big Mama
Big Mama made their debut in 2003 with four members: Shin Yeon Ah, Lee Young Hyun, Lee Ji Young, and Park Min Hye.
Like BGH4, Big Mama did disband in 2012, but all four members reunited in 2021 and have continued to release music as a group.
3. Davichi
Davichi debuted as a duo with members Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung in 2008.
The duo has stayed together ever since and continued to actively release music.
4. J Rabbit
Like Davichi, J Rabbit debuted as a duo with members Jung Da Woon and Jung Hye Su in 2010.
The duo has continued to release music together since their debut.
5. OKDAL
OKDAL was another female K-Pop duo that debuted in 2010 with members Kim Yoon Ju and Park Se Jin.
The duo has also remained active and kept its original two members to the delight of fans.
