The Only K-Pop Group To Win #1 On KBS’ Music Bank In Each Of The Last 3 Decades
There are only a limited number of K-Pop groups who win first place on music shows, and even fewer who do so on a public television program. And among that number, there is only one so far who has done so in KBS‘s Music Bank in each of the last three decades.
This is none other than SHINee! The SM Entertainment boy group debuted in 2008 with “Replay.” It became an instant hint, catapulting them into stardom.
Other K-Pop groups also won first place consistently throughout their careers. SHINee, however, was the only artist who did so in the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s on Music Bank specifically.
BIGBANG "Still Life" didn't win on mubank, SUJU's last win was 2019, SNSD and 2PM if i'm not mistaken around 2015.

1. 2000s
First up, the group earned their first Music Bank win with “Juliette” in June 2009. They followed this up with “Ring Ding Dong” in November.
2. 2010s
They started the 2010s strong with their iconic song “Lucifer” which they won in July 2010. Three months later, they made a successful comeback with “Hello.”
SHINee was undeniably one of the top groups throughout the decade. They won in 2012 with their song “Sherlock,” in 2013 with “Dream Girl,” in 2015 with “View” and “Married to the Music,” and in 2016 with “1 of 1.”
3. 2020s
Finally, their first win on Music Bank this decade was with “Hard.” It was an especially meaningful comeback as it was their first group album since maknae Taemin completed his military service. It was also their commemoration for their 15th debut anniversary.
By taking first place in the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s, SHINee proved that their popularity is not limited to a specific time period!
