6 Most Hilarious Things TREASURE Said During The “TREASURE MAP” Summer Episode
TREASURE recently released the 54th episode of their reality show TREASURE MAP. It was a day full of fun and laughter as they set out to be the Summer King of the episode.
Like usual, they had the most ridiculous—but hilarious—statements and actions. Check them out below!
1. Haruto
First up, Haruto was full of confidence when he said, “I look better when wet.”
He readily invited the crew to spray him with their water guns, knowing that he’ll look picture perfect anyway!
2. Jihoon
Jihoon also had an interesting self-introduction. As someone who considers himself a gym buff, it’s no wonder he has the body to prove it—and show it off!
I’m the only guy here who can take off his shirt. But that breaks broadcasting rules.
— Jihoon
In order to keep the show family-friendly, he amended, “I’ll take off 25% [of my shirt].” From what fans saw, it was more like 2.5% of his shirt instead!
3. Jeongwoo
Being the comedian that he is, Jeongwoo chose to do an impression of a fish for his self introduction.
This is a fish washed up on shore.
— Jeongwoo
Needless to say, it was as funny as it sounded!
4. Mashiho
A little later, Mashiho made everyone laugh with his unique set of priorities when Doyoung fell off the boat. Instead of reaching out to rescue him or at least asking if he’s alright, he shouted, “My shoe! My shoe! What about my shoe? Doyoung, my shoe!”
That’s right—his shoe was more important than his fellow member!
5. Memes
An underlying mission throughout the water sports challenge was to make “summer memes.” In other words, the most ridiculous or relatable expressions. The members easily made one up on the spot: “Oh no, the sun is in my eyes!”
6. “Lovesick Girls”
Towards the end of the episode, TREASURE had a mini competition where they all had to sing summer songs. Though many were spot-on with tracks like Wonder Girls’ “Why So Lonely” and Red Velvet‘s “Red Flavor,” others were a lot more…unique.
Junghwan, for instance, decided that Spongebob‘s theme song was the best summer song out there, singing, “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob Squarepants!”
Doyoung performed a children’s song, “Baby Shark,” with full confidence.
And Hyunsuk was way off the mark with “Lovesick Girls.” Jihoon rightly told him, “It came out after Chuseok!” or last October.
