TXT‘s Yeonjun is an animal lover just like the rest of us! The HYBE singer has never hidden his love for pandas from his fans.

As an old vlog showed, he couldn’t contain his excitement when visiting a panda enclosure in real life. He hummed a tune to the words “panda, panda” and took selfies with them from afar.

In the recent Weverse Live of the group, Yeonjun spent a significant portion of it talking about pandas. He had a fun conversation with MOAs about the viral sensation Fu Bao, the first giant panda born on Korean soil.

He expressed his sorrow at the news of the two-year old panda leaving South Korea sometime in the future to find a mate. Though she weighs over 100kg (220 lbs), she is still a baby in his eyes.

Fans found it adorable that he begged her stay in the country.

The TXT singer is also updated on Fu Bao’s favorite human, her caretaker at Everland, Kang Chul Won. He is affectionately called “Fu Bao’s Grandfather” among Koreans.

She needs to stay with her grandfather. He knows Fu Bao best.
