1. Alleged Violence Towards Ex-Girlfriend
A post alleged to have been made by Zico’s mother details his alleged treatment of an ex-girlfriend, including verbal abuse, while he was in high school.
The post was accompanied by a photo of Zico, his mother, and the mentioned teacher.
2. “Golden Phone”
After Jung Joon Young‘s involvement in the Burning Sun Scandal group chats was revealed, netizens recalled when Zico appeared on a TV program with the convicted rapist. During the show, Zico spoke about a “golden phone” owned by Jung Joon Young, which was used only for Kakaotalk, leading some to believe he was involved in the chatrooms.
Zico released a statement that addressed these allegations, vehemently denying them.
The phone that I mentioned on the show had nothing to do with this unfortunate case. All I saw on that phone was a list of phone numbers, and I haven’t contacted Jung Joon Young on a personal level in a very long time. Please don’t make any rash assumptions, and regarding the malicious comments and spreading of false information, I will take strong actions against them.

3. Seohyun’s Fake Nudes
In 2018, a nude photo that was alleged to be then-AOA member Seohyun went viral online, with rumors alleging that the photo came from her ex-boyfriend Zico’s lost phone.

It was quickly proven that the photo was not of Seohyun, thus proving Zico had no possible link to the photo’s spread.
4. Accusations Of Being Goo Hara’s Robber
After KARA Goo Hara’s passing, a robbery occurred at her home. The thief stole a safe that previously held several of her old phones, which had been removed by her brother just after her death.
During an episode of Unanswered Questions, a facial composite was successfully put together and revealed of the thief.
Netizens found the thief’s appearance to strongly resemble Zico’s leading to many attacking him with allegations that it was him. Zico’s company denied these allegations, and promised legal action against those making defamatory statements.
