Here’s A Look At UP10TION’s Sunyoul’s Incredible Vocal Skills In Celebration Of His Birthday

October 6 marks the 24th birthday of UP10TION‘s incredibly talented main vocalist, Sunyoul!

If you’re not familiar with this idol, you’re definitely missing out. Sunyoul is known for being one of the few male idols that can flawlessly cover female-sung songs in the original key.

His voice is so soothing and smooth, without any kind of perceptible strain that some others struggle with when hitting higher notes.

He has a series on YouTube called “SUNYOUL’IVE”, where he has covered a number of difficult songs that he absolutely slays. For example, here is his cover of Idina Menzel‘s “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2, sung in the original key!

Here’s another cover of the song “Dance Monkey” by Tones and I, which he also sings flawlessly. Given that English isn’t his native language, his pronunciation is also extremely impressive when he sings!

He also once starred on the competition show King ofย Masked Singer, where he covered “Tears” by So Chan Wee. The outfit he was dressed in was very feminine in the style ofย 15thย century Korean artist Uhwudong, which only convinced judges even more that he was a woman singing since he, once again, sang the song in the original female key.

Of course, when it was revealed that it was Sunyoul singing, the judges were completely shocked!

Even singing casually outside of the studio or on stage, this vocalist has no trouble completely stunning fans with just how easily he covers difficult songs.

On top of all of this talent, Sunyoul is also just incredibly cute and precious, and he deserves all the love in the world. Even the other UP10TION members can’t get over his adorableness!
