Epik High to release Japanese edition for “Shoebox”
On November 30th, YG Entertainment‘s Epik High announced the release of the Japanese edition for their newest album, Shoebox.
Epik High’s newest album has been doing extremely well so far. The music video for “Born Hater” recently hit 4 million views, while “Happen Ending” won the group a triple crown on Mnet’s M! Countdown.
The Japanese edition of Shoebox will come in two versions, one with just the CD and another that also includes a DVD. The CD will include 14 tracks as opposed to the original 12 tracks, with Japanese mix versions of “Happen Ending” and “Spoiler” being the two additional tracks. The DVD will feature the music videos for “Spoiler”, “Happen Ending”, and Tablo’s rendition of Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips”, as well as the ‘making of’ the videos for the first two tracks.
In terms of price, the Japanese edition for Shoebox is quite affordable, with the CD and CD+DVD versions costing ¥2,160 (~$18) and ¥3,024 (~$25), respectively. The album can be purchased through YG’s official Japanese store, and is set to be released on December 24th.
Epik High is currently on their “Parade 2014” concert tour, which started on November 14th and plans to run through December with stops in Daegu, Incheon and Busan, as well as China and Japan.
