IU drops digital single “Heart” as gift for fans

After receiving a lot of love from fans on her birthday and in response to her new drama Producer, IU released a digital single “Heart” to thank fans for their support. 

The song was first released in part in episode 2 of the KBS2 drama Producer, where IU plays veteran singer and ice princess Cindy. Despite taking on a more mature and sexy concept as Cindy, however, “Heart” is a lighter and happier track.

IU has not made a comeback since her EP Flower Bookmark in 2014, but has released several singles, including “Knee” late last year. “Heart” is a song about being in love, and the song has the feel of young love blossoming. The song was released at midnight on May 18th through MelOn.
