1st Generation K-Pop Idol Speaks Out In Support For NewJeans Amidst Recent Issues
1st Generation K-Pop idol S.E.S’ Bada recently spoke out in support of NewJeans on September 5, 2024. NewJeans has been facing difficulties recently due to the sudden change in ADOR‘s management. Former CEO Min Hee Jin was replaced by an external hire, causing some change in policies. Most significantly, fans argued that the new ADOR was controlled by HYBE and was trying to “erase NewJeans.” Policy changes later led Dolphiners Films, who famously worked on NewJeans’ music videos, to refuse to continue working with ADOR and by extension, the girls.
The members themselves have been expressing how troubled they were feeling.
