“20th Century Girl” Actor Byeon Woo Seok May Have Just Hinted At His Real-Life Feelings For His Co-Star Kim Yoo Jung
Byeon Wook Seo might have given viewers a clue about his feelings for his 20th Century Girl co-star Kim Yoo Jung.
In a YouTube video uploaded by Netflix Korea, the stars of Netflix’s hit movie 20th Century Girl appeared to react and provide commentary to some of the movie’s most heart-fluttering scenes.
Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Yoo Jung, Roh Yoon Seo, and Park Jung Woo were joined by the movie’s director Bang Woo Ri.
In the video, Bang Woo Ri shocked the actors and viewers when she confessed that the movie was, in part, based on her experiences. While watching a scene in which Kim Yoo Jung’s character tries to leave an awkward position with Park Jung Woo’s character, Kim Yoo Jung revealed that the movie was based on the director’s own experiences.
Oh and just to be clear, our director was the motif of the movie.

The director first sheepishly denies it before admitting that the movie was based on a notebook she shared with her friends, where she wrote down information about a boy her friend liked after spying on him.
To be honest, it is true that it was a motif. There was a notebook that my friends and I shared where I wrote down information about a friend’s crush after spying on him. It’s kind of like the bible for this movie.

The cast then watched a scene where Byeon Woo Seok’s character takes a picture of Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jung Woo’s characters. While watching the scene, Byeon Woo Seok admitted he felt jealous seeing how close Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jung Woo’s characters seemed to be.
To be honest, I was a little jealous seeing how happy they were together.

Park Jung Woo then sharply interjected and teasingly asked if Byeon Woo Seok had fallen in love with Kim Yoo Jung in real life. Byeon Woo Jeok’s playfully responded and made the whole cast gasp.

Although the actor then plays it off, viewers are surely curious to know whether the actor did, in fact, fall for his co-star.
