2NE1’s Park Bom Announces Her New Name In Barely Recognizable Photos
2NE1 Park Bom‘s social media activity has captured attention again.
Over the last few months, Park Bom’s activities on social media have been a topic of discussion and concern. The idol used Instagram to share images of herself and also confused netizens with her posts about actor Lee Min Ho, whom she called her “husband.”
Eventually, Lee Min Ho’s team spoke up about the posts, as Park Bom’s side seemed to try to censor her social media usage by deleting an account she made.
On February 27, it was announced that the idol would take a hiatus to focus on her physical and mental health ahead of 2NE1’s encore concerts in Seoul. Despite this, the idol has updated fans on her Instagram account.
Recently, the idol has earned attention again by announcing a name change.
In a photoset shared on Instagram, the idol included labels featuring a heavily edited image of herself and the name “Park Bom Elizabeth.” The caption also included this name, which was taken as her official announcement.

This would be a change from her English name of Jenny Park, which fans have welcomed with a bit of confusion mixed in.
