What 2PM And Girls’ Generation Really Thought About Junho And YoonA Playing A Couple In “King The Land”
For the first time ever, 2PM‘s Junho and Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA are starring as a couple in the same K-Drama, JTBC‘s King The Land!
It follows the relationship between chaebol Gu Won (Junho) and concierge Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA) as they meet in his family’s King Hotel, undergo hardships together, and eventually fall in love.
The rom-com will start airing on June 17. Ahead of this, a press conference was held at the Ramada Sindorim Hotel in Seoul. The two idol-actors posed for photos—cutely making a mistake once—and answered questions from the reporters present in the venue.
One such question was about their members’ reaction to the news, and they revealed that the two groups were opposites!
First, Junho was asked how his 2PM members reacted when he told them he is working with Girls’ Generation’s YoonA.
He replied simply, “They didn’t say much.” He explained that at this point in their careers, they’re all busy with their own projects and work. Despite their hectic schedules, they didn’t forget to crack a joke when they viewed the drama’s teaser!
When we reach this level of experience, we are all busy living our own lives. When we saw the teaser video, they jokingly asked if I commuted to and from work by parachuting.

In contrast, the Girls’ Generation members asked YoonA many questions such as, “When is it coming out?” and “Are you still shooting?”
They also expressed excitement about its release, saying they wanted to watch it already.
The Girls’ Generation members said things like, ‘I want to watch it soon‘ and ‘When is it coming out?‘ Since the filming period was long, they would often ask, ‘Are you still shooting?‘

Even if the reactions were different, there’s no mistaking how supportive both groups are for their member! In related news, see what YoonA and Junho did to make reporters laugh during the press conference here:
