2PM's Ok Taecyeon Responds To Kim Jaejoong And Jun. K "Criticizing" Him

2PM’s Jun. K recently guested on Episode 49 of former TVXQ member Kim Jaejoong‘s YouTube interview series Jaefriends.

As they’re both idols from 2nd Gen K-Pop groups, they have known each other for many years and are comfortable with each other. Yet, Jaejoong confessed that 2PM had an influence on him and his members. They also felt pressured to work out, as 2PM was known to be “beastly idols.”

Kim Jaejoong: Do you know we worked out too because of you guys?

Jun. K: I thought you naturally had a great body.

Kim Jaejoong: I was just trying to maintain my level. We came out with a concept to show our masculine side. But having even more macho beasts next to us…

Jun. K revealed that he is naturally not big. He grew the reputation by association.

I’m not such a big person, you know? The beast idol thing doesn’t really suit my personality. Somehow, just hanging out with these bigger guys, I ended up looking big too. Since I looked bigger with them…

Jaejoong claimed, “It’s cool. These days, it’s not that cool anymore.” Without hesitation, Jun. K asked if he was subtly throwing shade at his member Ok Taecyeon.

Hm~ OK TAECYEON? You’re subtly criticizing TAECYEON now, aren’t you? You’re saying TAECYEON is too big, aren’t you?

Jaejoong denied it, and he unexpectedly revealed that he had seen Taecyeon eating out recently. The two idols admired how Taecyeon freely eats what he wants.

Kim Jaejoong: I recently met TAECYEON at a gopchang restaurant. But eating gopchang means…

Jun. K: He’s not watching his diet!

Kim Jaejoong: Exactly! Eating comfortably means he’s more relaxed about food. It was really nice to see.

Still, fans thought it was funny that Taecyeon is always mentioned and shaded by his members no matter where they go.

Now, Taecyeon has responded to Jun. K and Jaejoong’s “criticism” of him. He liked Jaejoong’s new post advertising the episode and left a comment saying his ears were itchy, meaning he sensed he was being talked about!
