Recently, fourth-generation idol group member GHOST9‘s Prince went viral after showing off the unexpected way he was using his practice room under the radar of his manager.
Prince invited fans to watch him cook in the practice room “until [he gets] busted by [his] manager,” cooking unagi (freshwater eel) and seasoned rice.
In the hilariously chaotic video, he cut the eel and grilled it in a mini cooker, noting that he had to be careful because of a smoke detector directly above him. He attempted to form the rice he made into onigiri before settling on a rice bowl dish instead.
The video was a success in more ways than one. Prince successfully cooked the meal without his manager knowing, stating, “Manager-nim forgot that I existed, so we live another day.” Its other success came in the form of going viral in less than 24 hours.
The video earned over 362,900 views and over 86,200 likes, with a few netizens commenting that the funny video was their sign to stan GHOST9.
Others are hoping that the series will continue and with the caption stating it’s only “part 1,” hopefully, Prince’s luck with his manager will hold out for another practice room meal.
