4th Generation Boy Group Song Goes Viral For Being “For The Gays”

“I’m gonna make you top…”

Boy group 82MAJOR previously released the song “Choke.” It became a hit globally, being one of their most popular songs to date.

On a recent episode og Hong Seok Cheon’s Jewel Box, visual member Seokjun appeared on the show. As per tradition, openly gay MC Kim Ddol Ddol performs a rendition of the guest star’s song. He reinvents the song according to his personality and flair. Previously, his cover of RIIZE‘s “Siren” went viral as “Gayren,” garnering millions of views.

Hilariously, netizens realized that the song lyrics were absolutely “for the gays.” The lyrics contained the lines “I’m gonna make you choke” and “I’m gonna make you top.

Netizens joked that the lyrics were perfectly tailored for South Korea, a country known to have a lack of tops.

When I tried decoding the lyrics to “Choke” previously, I thought that it was one where the gays conveyed their desperate wishes for some “top” talent to be created, hence “I’m gonna make you top,” as our country is currently one lacking tops. And I thought that “chok (intuition)” in the lyrics referred to how the gays identified the tops.
