After years of anticipation, tvN’s high-budget drama When the Stars Gossip has finally released its first teaser, creating a buzz among fans. With a production cost of ₩50.0 billion KRW (about $34.8 million USD), the K-Drama faced a surprising two-year delay, making this reveal even more exciting.

The series stars Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin in leading roles.

Lee takes on the role of Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN who ends up on a space station, while Gong portrays Eve Kim, the dedicated commander tasked with protecting lives in a zero-gravity environment.

The project first came to light in November 2021, when Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin were reported to be in discussions for the roles. Their casting was confirmed by March 2022, and filming kicked off in April of the same year. After nearly a year of production, Lee Min Ho announced in February 2023 that filming was complete. Despite this, the series faced delays, heightening curiosity and anticipation among fans.
