Gyuvin was spotted walking in the streets, wearing headphones and a mask, which are usual social indicators someone does not want to interact. A video captured of Gyuvin exposed multiple fans continually following and recording Gyuvin closely as he walked.

Someone asked for the video of Piper Gyuvin. Here’s Piper Gyuvin and the rat girls. I feel f*cking terrible for Gyuvin.

The video caption joked about the German folk legend “Pied Piper,” which has become an expression used when someone is so enticing that others follow them. In the original story, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, the Pied Piper character plays music that leads both children and rats away from the town. BTS released a song with this title to criticize obsessive fan culture.

As the video went viral at the time of writing, netizens expressed their outrage. International fans were especially disgusted by the stalker behavior in the video.

ZEROSEs (ZEROBASEONE fans) agreed Gyuvin was “too nice.” They were shocked to also realize he had just experienced this before still interacting with fans via Mnet Plus Chat.
