Netizens Shocked To Discover “A2K” Contestant Camila In A BTS Video
Spoiler Alert
An A2K contestant’s past work has resurfaced, surprising netizens.
JYP Entertainment‘s new global girl group audition program called A2K, which is an acronym for “America to Korea,” is well underway. The show is co-produced by Republic Records. The objective is to launch a new girl group by the end of 2023. J.Y. Park explained that they sought “American talent to create a girl group through a K-Pop system.”
17-year-old Camila Ribeaux Valdes has been a fan-favorite since the start. Over the course of the past few weeks, she has proven to be an all-rounder well deserving to debut.

But did you think she looked familiar the first time you saw her?
In 2019, BTS released a “LOVE MYSELF Global Campaign Video” for their and UNICEF‘s (United Nations Children’s Fund) “LOVE MYSELF” campaign, promoting the “end of violence and neglect as well as promoting self-esteem and well-being, especially for youth.”
The global campaign video featured a few struggling young people, but BTS helped save them with their music. One was a girl who was crying in the bathroom on her phone…
Later, we see her applying lip gloss in the mirror, smiling. She puts in her earbuds and dances while BTS’s “Answer: Love Myself” plays.
An A2K fan resurfaced the video, pointing out Camila. It went viral with 135.2K views.
