AB6IX’s Daehwi And Kang Hyewon Get Virtually Married For “WGM” Spin-Off “We Became A Family”
AB6IX‘s Daehwi and Kang Hyewon have been paired together in a We Got Married spin-off, We Became A Family. The episode aired on December 6, 2021, and featured the two of them becoming virtual husband and wife.
The two met, dressed up in a suit and dress and had a self-photoshoot for their small “wedding”. They also met up with other family mates, fellow virtual couple Super Junior‘s Yesung and Im Nayoung. Im Nayoung hails from Produce 101‘s first season and made her debut in I.O.I.
As Daehwi previously was from Wanna One after winning season 2 of Produce 101, and Hyewon debuted in IZ*ONE after winning season 3 of the same show, the two already have much in common. Fans jokingly dubbed the show a reuniting of three seasons of the Produce series.
You can continue to tune in to the two couples on Mnet in South Korea. It is not yet available overseas. Previously, the show ran into controversy and it was announced that Mnet would not be proceeding with the show, but it seems like it pushed through in the end.
