Actor Byeon Woo Seok Takes Unusual Route Off Stage—Scares The Heck Out of IVE’s Wonyoung
On December 27, the biggest names of the Korean entertainment industry gathered together in Thailand to celebrate their achievements this year at the 2024 Asia Artist Awards (AAA). Among the attendees was Lovely Runner-fame Byeon Woo Seok.
Byeon took multiple awards home, including the Popularity Award, Best Choice award, and Best Couple award (with Lovely Runner co-star Kim Hye Yoon).
But as eventful as the night was for the actor, perhaps the most memorable moment was his unique exit from the stage. During one of his acceptance speeches, the actor started leaving the stage after thanking the audience, only to turn back, intending to speak a little more.
But even before he could start speaking, the mic stand retracted into the stage, taking him with it. Byeon Woo Seok could only helplessly wave goodbye to the audience.
IVE’s Wonyoung, who was one of the MCs of the night, was caught on camera completely flabbergasted at the actor’s unexpected exit.
