Actor And Comedian Kwon Hyuk Soo Has Tested Positive For The Coronavirus
Actor and comedian Kwon Hyuk Soo has tested positive for the coronavirus after contracting it from an asymptomatic individual.
Kwon Hyuk Soo’s agency Humap Contents made the announcement in their press release to the media.

Our company’s actor Kwon Hyuk Soo has tested positive for Covid-19.
On April 14, Kwon Hyuk Soo had a meeting with an individual who was helping him with his balance accounts. The individual was asymptomatic, and was unaware they were infected with Covid-19. The meeting also took place prior to the individual getting tested for Covid-19.
After the individual was tested and it was confirmed they were positive, Kwon Hyuk Soo went to go get tested prior to the health officials notifying him that he was a close contact. Kwon Hyuk Soo was notified that he tested positive on the morning of April 22.
Kwon Hyuk Soo immediately halted all of his activities and went into self-isolation after learning that the individual helping him on April 14 tested positive. He is taking necessary measures according to the health authorities’ guidelines.
Regardless of whether or not we were in contact with Kwon Hyuk Soo, all of our company’s staff, artists, and employees will be getting tested as well, and we will share a follow up as soon as the results are confirmed.
In cooperation with the government’s policy, we will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the entire company to ensure there is no risk for further exposure within the company, and make more efforts to manage our artists.
