Actor Caught Driving Under The Influence Attacks Citizens For Reporting Him
A popular actor in his 40s, “A,” has been placed under a police investigation on charges of drunk driving. He is also accused of assaulting the people who reported him to the police.
The Seoul Seongdong Police Station has forwarded the drunk driving case to the prosecution. The incident occurred on July 2, around 3:40 am, when “A” reportedly drank alcohol at a Gangnam restaurant and then drove 3 km to his home in Seongdong-gu. His blood alcohol concentration was at the level of license revocation, according to the police.
In addition to this, “A” is also facing assault charges for choking the people who tried to report his DUI to the police. A video shot by another citizen showed the staggering actor held by the two men as he cursed, pushed, and grabbed one of them by his neck while engaged in a heated argument.
However, in a phone call with MBC, the actor denied the assault, even though he admitted to drunk driving. Instead, he claimed that the people were harassing him, threatening to report the DUI to the media.

When I got out of the car, some people with tattoos approached me. They filmed videos and said they would follow me and report this to the media.
