The incident occurred during an event for his latest movie, Revolver. While he was going around the audience to interact with the members, a fan handed him a notebook for an autograph. The actor signed it and returned the pen, but he ended up taking the book with him as he made his way to the front.

The clip went viral on social media, and the notebook eventually made its way back to its owner. But it looks like the actor is not satisfied yet with how things ended. On the afternoon of September 5, KST, Ji Chang Wook’s agency uploaded an urgent notice to their official social media account, announcing that they were “looking for someone.”

In the post, fashioned after a real-life flyer, the agency mentioned that they were looking for the person whose notebook Ji Chang Wook mistakenly snatched away on August 7, asking for leads. They even hilariously apologized for not being able to recognize the person from their “outstretched hand.”

PS: Although the notebook has been returned to its owner, we apologize for not being able to find that outstretched hand.
