Rising Star Kim Do Hoon Fractures Arm, Leading To Filming Uncertainty For “Dear X”

According to a report by Sports Chosun on March 24, 2025, rising actor Kim Do Hoon suffered an arm fracture accident while practicing motorcycle riding during standby for the filming of TVING‘s original series Dear X last week.
Kim Do Hoon had allegedly been practicing riding a motorcycle while waiting on set, and during a short ride, he fell and fractured his left forearm. He has been diagnosed with a recovery period of 24 weeks, making the future of the drama filming uncertain.
Following his stellar appearance in Moving, Kim Do Hoon was set to work alongside Kim Yoo Jung in Dear X, and even perform action scenes, but due to his injury, he is unfortunately unable to continue filming. Kim Do Hoon is currently hospitalized after undergoing surgery.
With the cast being confirmed in August 2024, filming should have started late 2024 to early 2025. It is uncertain how many scenes Kim Do Hoon filmed before his injury, or if the production team will end up recasting his role.
