Actor Lee Yi Kyung Gives His Actress Ex-Girlfriend A Shout Out At The “2024 APAN Star Awards”

On December 28, the 2024 APAN Star Awards took place, honoring several actors for their performances in K-Dramas this year.

Actor Lee Yi Kyung was in attendance, having earned a nomination for his performance in Marry My Husband. Lee played the main character’s cheating husband, a villain role different from his previous appearances in dramas.

For his performance, Lee earned multiple nominations, including the “Excellence Award — Actor in a Miniseries” at the APAN Star Awards.

Lee ultimately won the award, and gained attention for his speech and the unexpected shout-out he gave to an ex-girlfriend.

In 2018, Lee appeared in Welcome to Waikiki, during which his relationship with co-star Jung In Sun was revealed. The pair had been dating for a year but broke up just months after the announcement.

During his speech, Lee remarked on how the nomination allowed him to meet other celebrities, including Kim Tae Ri. He also shared he was grateful to the judges for allowing him to meet Jung In Sun and congratulated her on the award she won during the ceremony.
