BTS’s Jungkook Unexpectedly Joins Shim Hyung Tak’s Wedding Anniversary Celebration With Look-Alike Hirai Saya
Actor Shim Hyung Tak announced his engagement in 2023. He married Hirai Saya, a non-celebrity Japanese bride 18 years younger than him.

The couple previously went viral due to Saya Hirai’s uncanny resemblance to BTS‘s Jungkook. After appearing on variety TV with her husband, she even caught the idol’s attention.

Clips from the couple’s episode of TV Chosun’s Chosun’s Real Romantic (also known as Lovers of Joseon) had circulated on social media.
Now, Shim Hyung Tak and Hirai Saya are not only happily married but also celebrating their first wedding anniversary!

Shim Hyung Tak shared photos via his Instagram. You might notice a couple of familiar faces, including comedian Moon Se Yoon and… Wait. Jungkook?!
Jungkook wasn’t in attendance, really, since he is currently fulfilling his mandatory military enlistment. Yet, they found a way to include him.
In one of the photos, the couple was surrounded by standees of celebrities, such as former TVXQ member Kim Jaejoong and BTS’s Jungkook.
These photos were taken from a recent episode of Men’s Life These Days: Groom’s Class. In the clip below, Hirai Saya was so surprised and amused when her husband brought out the standee of Jungkook.

Previously, Hirai Saya had listed Jungkook and Jaejoong as two persons she wanted to invite to their wedding reception last year. So, Shim Hyung Tak thoughtfully remembered and included standees of the stars at the anniversary.
