Gong Yoo And Seo Hyun Jin Will Star In A New Netflix Show Just Like They Predicted
Actors Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin are reported to be the main characters of the upcoming Netflix Original Trunk.
It was confirmed that the two actors recently met with the production team to discuss their roles in the show.
This will be Gong Yoo’s third appearance in a Netflix Original following Squid Game and Sea of Silence. For Seo Hyun Jin, Trunk will be her first Netflix show.
Trunk is based on a novel of the same name by Kim Ryeo Ryeong. The melodrama is about a marriage service agency called NM that sets people up with their future spouses. Seo Hyun Jin will play the deputy director of NM, who ironically does not believe in marriage. Gong Yoo will play a music producer who believes that all marriages in the world are deceitful.
Trunk is directed by Kim Kyu Tae, who is known for some of his other works, including Our Blues, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, It’s Okay, That’s Love, and Live.
