Actors Lee Jung Jae And Jung Woo Sung Are The Most Supportive Seniors To NCT’s Doyoung As They Bond On “Master In The House”
NCT‘s Doyoung spilled on the real difficulties of always being on camera while speaking with actors Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung.
Doyoung has recently become a fixed member of the cast of SBS‘s Master In The House (also known as All The Butlers), a reality show in which the cast learns from ‘masters’ from different fields. In one of the latest episodes, Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung made a guest appearance as the masters.
Upon first meeting them, Doyoung was noticeably (and very relatably!) starstruck.

A bit later, he politely asked Lee Jung Jae if he knew who he was. The actor had the whole cast laughing when he took a guess and said simply, “You’re from a boy group.” Doyoung’s fellow cast member Yang Sehyung hilariously agreed, saying, “It’s a boy group, not a girl group, he’s right!”
Doyoung: But do you perhaps know who I am…?
Lee Jungjae: Boy group
Everyone: Boy group 🤣
Sehyung: Not a girl group, but a boy group, he's right
Doyoung: I'm from NCT
Jung Woosung: Yes, we're counting on you pic.twitter.com/mRVRgwSYKB— ling (@doyoungteam0201) August 7, 2022
Doyoung proved himself to be a true fan throughout the episode, as he consistently gave the funniest reactions to everything Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae said.

But there were some more serious moments as well. As an actor himself, Doyoung had a lot to share with Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae, especially after having made his acting debut inboth K-Dramas and in musical theatre. Jung Woo Sung commented that acting for TV and movies has a completely different feeling from acting onstage, and Doyoung couldn’t help but strongly agree.
It’s very different! Like… there are times when we want to cry, times when we want to get angry, but usually we aren’t able to do that to our heart’s content, right?
— Doyoung
In fact, Doyoung claimed that for him, acting feels like a great outlet for his stress and strong emotions because it gives him the chance to openly express them.
But when you act, they ask you to do that, right? When I act out crying scenes or scenes where I’m angry, it really relieves a lot of my stress.
— Doyoung
Hearing this, Lee Jung Jae encouraged him to continue to pursue acting, saying, “Then you have to do it!” Jung Woo Sung agreed and even gave Doyoung some thoughtful advice.
There are a lot of emotions that we have but there are times when we need to have self-restraint over our emotions…but what helps us to express that is ‘acting’
— Jung Woo Sung
No doubt Doyoung was extremely grateful to be able to spend time with these two legendary actors and learn from them directly. And now that they’ve met, Jung Woo Sung can add him to his list of idol besties along with BTS‘s Jin.
