“All Of Us Are Dead” Actress Cho Yi Hyun Reveals She Would Never Date This Type Of Person
Actress Cho Yi Hyun revealed the type of man that she would never date.
The actress, known for her roles in dramas School 2021 and Metamorphosis, garnered international acclaim for her break-out role in Netflix‘s zombie thriller, All of Us Are Dead.
Cho Yi Hyun sat down for an exclusive interview with Wikitree on November 9, where she spoke about her thoughts on love and her upcoming movie Ditto.
Ditto is a romantic movie starring Yeo Jin Goo and Cho Yi Hyun. The movie is a remake of the 2000 film of the same name starring Yoo Ji Tae and Kim Ha Neul and tells the story of love and friendship between a man and a woman who live in different time periods.
During the interview with Wikitree, Cho Yi Hyun stated that she would choose friendship over love and would never date a guy friend.
I am not the type to fall in love at first sight, but I would never allow myself to date a friend. For me, friendship comes before love. If someone becomes my friend but tells me they like me, that’s betraying our friendship.

The actress continued stating that she and her friends have had several conversations on this topic, but despite what they say, she couldn’t date a friend.
I’ve even debated with my friends about this before, but no one agreed with me. They all said that it wasn’t a sin to like someone, but I told them ‘It is! How can you like a friend?’

When asked why she was so against dating a friend, Cho Yi Hyun offered a logical reason, noting the low percentage of true love lasting.
Friendships have a lower chance of breaking than love. If you choose love after being friends, I take it as you’re choosing something that has a higher percentage of breaking. Even a friend that you thought you would see forever can become a stranger after breaking up. That’s why dating a friend is a betrayal.
