Former Child Actress Announces Pregnancy Following Devastating Loss
Former child actress Jeon Sung Cho has announced her pregnancy!
In a letter shared on Instagram, the former actress shared the news and photos of a pregnancy test and sonograms. In the post, she revealed that she previously experienced a miscarriage in 2024, almost a year to the date and that they found out about her pregnancy while on vacation in Australia.

What a rollercoaster year 2024 has been. Exactly one year ago, we had to say goodbye to our honeymoon baby at 17 weeks. And now, after a year, I’m finally sharing my “I’m pregnant” moment. 🐍
Right after getting married, we experienced so many ups and downs that I hardly know how I got through 2024. We even set a personal record with 12 trips abroad in one year. While I worry about having possibly neglected those around me, I think I just wanted to allow myself a bit of selfishness after all the hardships. Within the new boundaries of marriage, I wanted to focus more on myself and my partner. Looking back, I think we’ve done a great job living our lives to the fullest.
Losing our child a year ago left me in a state of lethargy for quite a while. Even now, with all the heartbreaking news in the world, I sometimes feel a creeping fear about the future. I don’t know what the new year will bring, but I’m sure that, just like last year, my partner and I will face each challenge side by side, one step at a time.
We discovered we were expecting this new baby during a trip to Sydney, Australia, so we decided to give them the nickname ‘Sydney.’ Sydney, let’s do our best together!
