Beloved Actress’s Totally-Barefaced Pre-Debut Photos Resurface—Prove She Was Born For The Job

Actress Han Ga In, whose most adored role is in the 2012 mega-hit K-Drama The Moon Embracing The Sun, debuted in 2002 with an Asiana Airlines commercial.

As a gifted student, ranking within the Top 5 of her entire high school, Han Ga In didn’t really consider the entertainment business as her career path. But it all changed when her 20-second interview on KBS News caught the attention of veteran singer Lee Sang Woo. Certain that she had the right visual, Lee Sang Woo tracked down the student Han Ga In and asked her to debut. The singer was too sure of her potential to give up that, even when her parents turned down the idea, he waited for her to graduate to convince her again.

Out of high school, Han Ga In took on the Asiana Airlines modeling offer and made her debut. The same year, she also took on a supporting role in a KBS K-Drama, Days In The Sun, making her actress debut as well. While she has since become an undeniable household name in the entertainment business, she once noted that she only took on the modeling job “for the money” as the client offered enough pay to cover four years of college.

Sometime between the KBS news and KBS K-Drama debut, Han Ga In had to take photos of herself, barefaced and from multiple angles, to send to her agency at the time. Those photos have since resurfaced and now gone viral, proving exactly why Lee Sang Woo was set on making her debut.

In the photos, Han Ga In is wearing zero makeup and photographed from the wildest angles—as requested by the agency. Upon seeing the actress in her most natural self, netizens have left comments of absolute awe!

- “Real actresses are born, not made.”
- “Wow…”
- “Whoa.”
- “Those are some harsh angles and she still looks good.”
- “How did she make these angles work?”
- “Whoa.”
- “Damn, the confidence speaks for itself in the angles.”
- “How is it possible to look that good from that angle?!”
- “Like… How does one take photos from those angles and make them look this good?”
- “Even her brows grow perfect.”
