Actress Lim Ji Yeon Takes Public Transportation And Shops Around — But Goes Unrecognized
Actress Lim Ji Yeon recently showed a new side of herself completely different from her villainous The Glory character.
On October 24, Lim Ji Yeon appeared on VOGUE KOREA‘s YouTube channel and introduced the items in her bag.
She shared that she brings around her everyday belongings as much as possible. These everyday items included perfume, Tiger Balm, jelly candies, protein snacks, foundation, health supplements, a hair scrunchie, and even a scalp gua sha massager.
One of the items that she was proud to introduce was her AirPods.
Her AirPods case was a red suitcase, and she excitedly told the story of how she found the case in the underground shopping area of Gangnam station.
Recently, I lost one of my AirPods on the plane, and so I urgently bought new AirPods not even a week ago. Sometimes, I take the subway, and when I went to the underground shopping area of Gangnam station, I saw this really nice case! So I really bought it.

Gangnam station’s underground shopping area is a popular place where people can shop for clothes, accessories, technology, and more. It connects to the subway train and, therefore, is always full of people walking around.
Her excitement about how she bought an AirPods case at a subway station—something non-celebrities do all the time—showed how it was a thrilling moment for her as a top star. When asked if people recognized her on the subway, she replied that nobody noticed her.

Lim Ji Yeon gained international fame in 2022 when she played a bully named Park Yeon Jin in Netflix‘s hit K-Drama The Glory. Since then, she gained attention for announcing her romantic relationship with fellow The Glory actor Lee Do Hyun and for her roles in Lies Hidden In My Garden and The Killing Vote.
