ADOR’s New Audition Announcement Hit With Backlash
ADOR has announced its first global audition since the departure of its former CEO, Min Hee Jin, and Korean netizens are not impressed.
On January 6, KST, the label posted a notice on its social media announcing a global audition. The auditions are open to anyone born after 2006, including all genders and nationalities.

The audition notice has unexpectedly drawn ridicule from netizens. Many felt that ADOR had simply copied the creative direction of the audition notices that were put out while Min Hee Jin was in charge with some minor tweaks.

They also criticized the poster’s lack of visual aesthetics, which they claimed was better when Min was overseeing things.
- “This looks like a normal small business. When Min Hee Jin was there, it had a wow factor.”
- “[The previous notices] had motion and sound…did they just take a screenshot and change the color? What’s wrong with the resolution?”
- “Wow, the aesthetics are f*cking tacky.”
- “The moment they changed it to purple, it became tacky.”
- “The repetition of the same aesthetic is so funny.”
