According to a recent statement from ADOR, the controversy began when manager “A” bypassed the company to directly approach an advertiser. The manager allegedly pushed for a direct deal between the artist and the brand, excluding the agency from the process. ADOR stated that this action breaches the exclusive contracts that govern the company’s relationship with its artists.

Recently, an employee responsible for artist management directly contacted an advertiser, bypassing the company, and attempted to facilitate a direct contract between the artist and the brand. The manager has admitted to engaging in this communication. This constitutes a serious breach of company policy, as it assists in violating the artist’s exclusive contract.

As a member of ADOR, the manager is obligated to ensure that the exclusive contract between the company and the artist is properly fulfilled. According to the exclusive contract, the artist is required to conduct their entertainment activities solely through ADOR.

An investigation was launched, and the manager was given multiple chances to explain their actions. However, ADOR claims the manager provided false information and refused to cooperate. This led to the manager being placed on standby, with the company requesting the return of a company-issued laptop.

ADOR immediately initiated an investigation and provided the manager with sufficient opportunities to explain their actions. However, the manager failed to cooperate with the investigation, making false statements that contradict clear evidence… there was no unlawful confinement or coercive action during this process.

We repeatedly requested meetings with the manager to give them a chance to explain their actions, but the manager rejected all requests.

ADOR clarified that there were no instances of coercion or illegal confinement during the retrieval process. However, they accused the manager of submitting the laptop only after formatting it in a way that made data recovery impossible. The company alleged this prevented them from identifying what information was deleted. ADOR ended their statement with a promise to conduct a detailed investigation and take all necessary legal steps.

The manager only submitted the laptop hours after being asked to do so, having obtained it from someone else, and handed it over after completely formatting it to make the data irretrievable. As a result, it is impossible to verify what data was deleted during the formatting process.

We plan to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and take necessary legal action.
