ADOR’s Staff Fails To Get In Contact With NJZ (NewJeans) During Hong Kong Performance, Despite Prior Pledge Of Support

NJZ (NewJeans) recently performed at 2025 ComplexCon in Hong Kong on March 23, 2025. The girls went after the court ruled in favor of ADOR‘s injunction, preventing NJZ from performing and being active independently. As such, ADOR announced that they would be giving their full support to the girls for their performance, given that they perform as NewJeans from ADOR.
As we have legally confirmed our status as the agency of NewJeans, ADOR will take full responsibility for supporting our artists in the future. We will fully support the ComplexCon performance this weekend so that it can be held under the name of NewJeans from ADOR.
We hope to meet the artists soon and have a sincere conversation.
We ask for your warm support and encouragement for NewJeans as they continue to grow together with ADOR.
Thank you.
— ADOR
On the day of the concert, it was reported in South Korean media that ADOR had dispatched their staff to Hong Kong, in order to provide the girls with support and to try to meet them to talk. The same day, they suddenly announced a hiatus, something which ADOR was unaware of.
Unaware of this, ADOR, acting as ‘NewJeans’ agency, dispatched staff to the Hong Kong concert to provide support, and informed the concert organizers that “the performance wass not by ‘NJZ’ but by ‘NewJeans’ and falls under ADOR’s jurisdiction.” Most importantly, it was reported that the staff attempted to contact the members on site but were unable to meet them.
