Aespa Fans Call Out MLB Korea For Allegedly Mistreating Giselle In Two Blatant Ways
Fashion brand MLB Korea is receiving heat from aespa fans for seemingly mistreating Giselle in two severe and blatant ways.
As global ambassadors, the members are currently promoting the brand’s summer collection, which includes bucket hats, logo shirts, crossbody bags, and chunky shoes.
Their endorsement photos were recently posted on the MLB website. Fans, however, were quick to notice that they failed to include Giselle in their styling guide. Only Karina, Winter, and Ningning‘s guides could be seen and clicked on.

In response, they started trending “WHERE IS GISELLE,” “TreatGiselleFairly,” and “GiselleDeservesBetter” on social media site Twitter. They expressed anger at the blatantly “disrespectful” way they were treating her.

But that wasn’t the only issue present. They also noticed in the website itself that her name was misspelled. In all caps, “Gieselle” was written instead of “Giselle.”
Fans were frustrated that something as basic as her name was still incorrect. Additionally, they argued that it was baffling that several errors were made for the same member. “Aespa is four,” they reiterated many times.

They believe that Giselle, as a brand ambassador, deserves top treatment. They couldn’t comprehend how MLB could mess up in such a scale.

Moreover, they didn’t hesitate to call out the brand for lacking professionalism and for not doing something as simple as proofreading before uploading their content.

One mistake would already be severe, but they had two—and in the same day, towards the same member. For fans, this was simply unacceptable.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Giselle was ignored by brands she is endorsing.

In a similar case, CLUBCLIO Japan shared an advertisement of their Kill Cover Fixer Cushion with the aespa members back in May. But much to the irritation of fans, they failed to include Giselle’s picture. Only the photos of Winter, Karina, and Ningning were uploaded.
