Aespa’s Giselle Shows Off Her Acting Chops In A Mini “Drama” — Netizens React
Aespa is set to release their newest album, I’M A DRAMA. As much as the title hints, the girls seem to take on a drama role in their teasers. Each teaser video is a minute and a half long, featuring the girls acting. Giselle‘s teaser was a full-blown skit, with her arguing in a kitchen with a girl called Becky.
Giselle confronts Becky in the kitchen. Most of the teaser is done in English.
She’s annoyed at Becky for spreading rumors about her.
Giselle’s acting chops really shone when she angrily stormed into the room to grab her phone.
She truly looked as if she was in a tiff with a friend.
Things took a little Inception-esque twist when it was shown that Giselle had simply been auditioning for a role. She argues with the judges about what truly is a role that would suit her.
After the discussion with the judges, Giselle looks confused about herself as she struts the street.
Ultimately, she reverts back to Korean as she declares, “this is me.”
The teaser really capitalized on Giselle’s international upbringing. The lines in English were something that only she could pull off in the group. Netizens were pleasantly surprised that Giselle’s acting chops were up to par.
