TXT’s Soobin And Beomgyu Make An Unexpected Cameo In aespa Giselle’s “GIRLS” Comeback Photo
One of the first things released when K-Pop idols announce their comebacks are the teaser pictures. It’s the first chance many have to see what the upcoming album will be like and try to spot any hidden clues or references to previous comebacks or even hints for future releases.
Recently, eagle-eyed netizens noticed something interesting in one of aespa‘s comeback teasers… and it all relates to another K-Pop group.
On July 5, aespa released the concept photos for their upcoming GIRLS mini-album release. From the minute the photos were released, netizens couldn’t get over the visuals of the idols in the group shots…
And of course, the solo pictures with each members’ æs, which are the virtual counterparts.
Yet, it was Giselle‘s photo that made netizens chuckle! Although the idol wowed with her visuals…
Many couldn’t stop seeing a reference to other members of another K-Pop group, and it’s none other than TXT‘s Soobin and Beomgyu.
At first, it seems impossible to notice anything but, when netizens zoomed in on the background and spotted a skateboard in the corner, they were shocked to see stickers with Soobin and Beomgyu’s names on the item.
Most people assume that it was probably a matter of recycling a prop as it seemed extremely similar to the skateboards used in TXT’s album The Chaos Chapter: Fight Or Escape’. In the shots, each of the members is holding a skateboard similar to the one seen in Giselle’s photo.
A close-up of one of the props from TXT’s comeback also shows the stickers zoomed in…
Although it might have been an accidental mistake, netizens rightly used it as their opportunity to share some hilarious comments. Whether it was pointing out that TXT was going to KWANGYA (SM Universe) or seeing two of the leaders of K-Pop’s fourth generation, it was truly an unexpected collaboration.
Of course, it could’ve simply been someone in the creative department forgetting to remove the stickers or worrying about ruining the prop. Yet, it might be the closest netizens will get to a TXT and aespa collaboration any time soon.
