Former Oh My Girl member JinE has once again extended her apologies over a controversial comment regarding aespa‘s Karina. The incident — which has sparked considerable backlash — revolves around JinE’s response to the news of Karina’s relationship with actor Lee Jae Wook.
The controversy ignited on the Ferbuary 27, immediately following the Dispatch report that revealed Karina and Lee Jae Wook’s budding romance. JinE, taking it to social media, posted a message that read, “Karina Karina Karina, (there’s an uproar) ㅋㅋ”
The comment was quickly interpreted as mocking, triggering a wave of criticism from both fans and netizens alike. Despite an initial attempt to clarify her intentions — stating it was merely an expression of disappointment from a fan’s perspective — the backlash only intensified.
