After the show was broadcast, MBC uploaded the performances along with a fancam version on their official YouTube channel.
From watching the broadcast version of the performance, it’s almost impossible to tell that something is wrong. It also isn’t easy to spot in the fancam version, but eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Karina was suffering a wardrobe malfunction that had the potential to seriously uproot her performance.
At the beginning of the performance, Karina is confident and poised on camera, but the fancam version shows that she already knew something was wrong.
In the broadcast version, the camera zooms in on Winter as Karina runs to the side of the stage off-camera.
Netizens spotted that the sole of Karina’s platform boot was falling off, which could have easily become a serious hazard as the group performed their choreography, especially with the heel height.
When Karina returned from what most assumed was an attempt to fix her shoe, her boot was unfortunately still in the same poor condition.
Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Karina continued her performance as if nothing was wrong, displaying her incredible professionalism as she didn’t adjust the choreography to compensate for her broken shoe.
