Fans Ask SM Entertainment To Prioritize aespa’s Health, Given New York’s Currently “Hazardous” Air Quality
Aespa‘s Karina, Winter, and NingNing are traveling to New York to throw the first pitch for the upcoming New York Yankees game on June 8 and attend The Governors Ball Music Festival on June 10. Unfortunately, Giselle is unable to attend both events for her health.

Although fans are incredibly excited to see aespa participate in both events, showing off their global superstardom, fans are now raising concerns about the upcoming activities given the current state of New York’s air quality.
As of June 7, the U.S. National Weather Services issued an air quality alert for New York City, as the government’s tracker labeled the air “hazardous.” Health officials urged people to stay indoors, as the air quality will likely remain between “unhealthy” and “very unhealthy” levels until Thursday at the earliest. The government will leave the air quality advisory in effect for a few days.

Those vulnerable to poor air quality, including seniors and young children, should limit time outdoors if possible.

Although the air quality could start improving on Thursday, which is when the New York Yankees game is, fans are voicing their concerns about aespa’s health, pointing out that it might be safest to cancel their appearance.
with the air pollution, i really hope sm doesn’t send aespa to that game, it’s too risky
