Aespa’s Ningning Appears To Shows Support For Palestine After McDonald’s Collab
In early July, McDonald’s Japan revealed its collaboration with aespa.
The initial 30-second ad featured the four members showcasing various McDonald’s products, including a new item in the McCafe menu. Since then, the company has shared more content featuring aespa.

Fans were left feeling disappointment towards SM Entertainment and the group due to McDonald’s reported involvement with the genocide taking place in Palestine. Fans reminded of the ongoing boycott, expressing their desire for the collaboration to be ended.
Aespa Face Massive Backlash After Announcing Collaboration With McDonald’s
Now, fans believe aespa’s Ningning has made a subtle show of support despite the collaboration.
Aespa are currently in Japan promoting the release of “Hot Mess,” their first Japanese single.
In a post made on Instagram, Ningning shared multiple photos of her time in the country, showing off her visuals.

In one photo Ningning can be seen standing in front of a vending machine, facing away from the camera. Fans quickly noticed some details about the machine that, including the name pictured on top, ADRA Japan.
ADRA Japan falls under ADRA International, a global humanitarian organization that partners with countries worldwide to provide aid “regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association.”
The organization has provided aid to those citizens in Gaza, working with local organizations to provide food aid to those displaced.
The machine in Ningning’s photo also features a message thanking people for their support, featuring the images of a child and aid workers.
With Ningning photo showing a full image of the Adra advertisement, many believe this was her subtle way of showing support.
