Aespa’s Winter Becomes The Third 4th Gen Girl Group Member To Reach #1 On Brand Reputation Ranking
The Korean Business Research Institute released the results for its October 2021 brand reputation rankings among girl group members, and aespa‘s Winter has come out on top!
The rankings are determined based on analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and public awareness. Hundreds of idols’ scores are compared in order to determine the artist whose brand reputation stood out among the rest. Winter’s total brand reputation index score was over 3.8 million!
The other aespa members also landed in the top 6, with Karina ranking #4, Giselle ranking #5, and Ningning ranking #6.
Winter is only the third 4th generation girl group member to peak at #1 on the brand reputation list! Earlier this year in June, Karina peaked at #1, marking the first time an aespa member topped the chart — the start to their consistent presence on top of the list. She also held the title for July, becoming the first 4th gen girl group member to stay at #1 for two consecutive months!
But the honor of first 4th gen girl group member to rank #1 on the brand reputation chart belongs to ITZY‘s Yeji, who topped the chart only six months after debuting. Yeji reached #1 in August 2019, and ranked #18 this month!
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and Lisa ranked #2 and #3 respectively, with fellow members Jisoo coming in at #7 and Rosé at #13. Other idols in the top 10 were Red Velvet‘s Joy (#8), MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa (#9), and LOONA‘s Chuu (#10).
Congratulations to Winter and the other idols who made the list! Check out the brand reputation rankings for girl groups this month below.
