NCT‘s Jaehyun and aespa‘s Winter went viral for their interaction at SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS @ TOKYO, leaving fans amused at the irony of seeing them together after they were involved in dating rumors earlier this year.
SM Entertainment‘s concert in Tokyo, much like the first one in Korea, was full of fun moments. The artists all got to show off their various charms and talents, as well as their impressive visuals.

…and while some netizens had negative reactions to seeing the interaction, most fans praised the politeness exhibited by both idols. The praise was particularly due to the fact that fans found the dating rumors surrounding Winter and Jaehyun earlier this year to have a rather shaky foundation.
When aespa starred in MBC‘s The Manager to promote their comeback “Girls” in July, Korean netizens criticized Winter for spending “too much” time on her phone. YouTube channel Sojang claimed it was because she was dating someone, which then naturally sparked rumors after a netizen added that it was Jaehyun.
